This is the list of some specific used terms in our ecosystem.

Projects

Projects are used to subdivide/group elements (newsletters, subscribers) of a customer that belong together in terms of content/topic for a better overview. Often, separate projects are created for certain product categories/lines or country regions.

Projects contain settings such as: Tracking domain, sender email address, reply-to address, etc.

Subscriber

Subscriber represents one record in your database with one e-mail address.

Permission 2

Permission 2 is an attribute for subscribers that indicates whether personal tracking is allowed. If the value is set to "True", the response data is recorded and stored on a person-related basis. This enables extensive individualisation options within marketing campaigns.

Interests

The interests give you the possibility to personalise your newsletters. This way you can send a personal newsletter to each of your subscribers. The prerequisite for this is that you know a subscriber's areas of interest.

For example, when subscribing to the newsletter you can let a subscriber select from subject areas defined by you in order to find out his or her interests. When the newsletter is produced, the content is then assigned to the corresponding areas of interest. When the newsletter is sent, the subscriber then only receives the blocks of content that are relevant to him or her.
